One of the keys to producing high quality cultured pearls is to ensure that the environment it grows in is pristine. An oyster takes between 18-24 months to grow 1 pearl and it is vital that it has a thriving ecosystem to benefit from the nutrients, water quality and shelter they need for healthy growth.
